Description
Description
The Verrocchio wall sconce pairs a solid brass frame with a hand-finished glass shade, available in green or transparent, for a cylindrical silhouette that reads as sculpture as much as light fixture. Modern in style and compact in scale, it mounts flush to the wall on a small brass base and projects its glass shade outward, giving a hallway, stairwell, or bedroom wall a fixed point of visual interest without occupying any floor or surface space.
Fitted with an E26 base, the fixture accepts LED, incandescent, or fluorescent bulbs (sold separately), so the colour and warmth of the light can be tuned to the room. A single light source keeps the glow contained and directional, ideal as an accent or wayfinding light rather than a primary room light. The glass shade diffuses the bulb's output into a soft wash across the wall surface, reducing glare in a hallway or beside a bed.
Construction is hardwired, so the sconce connects directly to a wall junction box rather than a cord and plug - installation should be handled by a licensed electrician or a confident DIYer comfortable with household wiring. The brass base measures 3.94 inches, with the fixture itself extending 7.48 inches high and 6.3 inches wide and deep. Clean the brass and glass with a soft, dry cloth; avoid abrasive cleaners that can dull the brass finish over time.
