- Real Wood, Not Printed Veneer — Solid timber is cut and finished so the grain shows through, giving every piece its own character. Built from Japanese walnut with a glass shade.
- Bright Enough To Read By — The shade aims usable light where you need it without flooding the whole room.
- Warm Enough For A Bedroom — The glow is tuned warm, so the room settles down at night instead of waking up.
Description
Description
The Sylvestrine wall sconce pairs a solid walnut wood body with a round glass shade, reflecting a restrained Japanese design sensibility. Compact in scale at under four inches wide, it holds a single light source on a G9 base and arrives fully preassembled for a quick wall mount. The wood frame gives the fixture a warm, natural grain that glass-only sconces don't offer.
Available in versions with or without an inline switch, the Sylvestrine works as a plug-adjacent or fully hardwired fixture depending on the household's wiring. It runs on LED, incandescent, or fluorescent G9 bulbs, sold separately, and supports both 110V-120V and 220V-240V systems. The round glass shade diffuses the bulb's output into a soft, even glow suited to low-key bedroom lighting.
Finished in a walnut tone, the wood-and-glass build suits bedroom and living room walls alike, particularly beside a headboard or reading nook. It is rated for dry locations only and mounts to a standard wall plate. Dust the wood surface with a soft cloth and avoid wet cleaners, which can dull the walnut finish over time.
