Description
Description
The Ostara wall sconce is built around an iron frame and a hand-painted fabric lantern shade, finished with a decorative tassel that hangs from its base in the tradition of Chinese lantern design. Offered with a beige shade, a celadon pattern, or a green bamboo motif, it mounts flush to the wall as a single vertical fixture. Sized for a hallway, stairwell, or living room wall, it reads as a lantern rather than a conventional arm-and-shade sconce.
An E26 socket accepts LED, incandescent, or fluorescent bulbs, letting brightness and color temperature be matched to the space. The fabric shade diffuses the source into a soft, warm glow that reads through the painted pattern rather than projecting a hard beam, suited to hallway or bedroom ambient lighting. The connection is hardwired, wired permanently into a junction box rather than an outlet plug.
The fixture measures 11.8 inches wide and 23.6 inches high, a tall, narrow profile suited to a hallway wall or stairwell landing. It ships partially assembled, with final wall mounting best completed by a licensed electrician. Dust the fabric shade and tassel with a soft, dry cloth or brush attachment, and keep the iron frame free of moisture.
