Description
Description
The Odalys wall sconce pairs a cylindrical metal body with a matching metal shade, built for mounting directly onto a wall plate rather than resting on any surface. Available in gray, white, or green, the fixture holds a clean, architectural line that reads as sculpture even when unlit. A single-light configuration keeps the silhouette narrow, making it suited to hallway runs, stairwell walls, or paired placement flanking a headboard or mirror where symmetry matters.
An E26 socket accepts LED, incandescent, or fluorescent bulbs of the installer's choosing, so brightness and color temperature can be matched to the room rather than fixed at the factory. Dual-voltage support across 110V-120V and 220V-240V lets the fixture run on standard household circuits in most regions. Because the sconce is hardwired, it draws through the wall's junction box rather than a cord, producing a steady, flicker-free wash of light along the wall plane.
Construction is straightforward metal throughout, finished to resist the dulling that plastic accents tend to show over time. Installation follows standard hardwired wall-sconce practice: mount the backplate to the junction box, connect the wiring, and secure the shade, work best left to a licensed electrician. Once mounted, upkeep is limited to wiping the metal body and shade with a soft, dry cloth to keep the Nordic-inspired finish free of dust and fingerprints.
