Description
Description
The Mirabeau wall sconce is carved from solid yellow travertine, its rounded form and irregular stone grain embracing a wabi-sabi sensibility where natural imperfection is the point. No two pieces of stone read exactly alike, so each fixture carries its own subtle veining and texture. The round silhouette mounts flush to the wall, holding a quiet, sculptural presence beside a mirror, headboard, or hallway run.
An integrated LED light source washes gently through the stone, producing a warm 3000K or neutral 4000K glow depending on the version chosen. A pull-wire switch option lets the fixture be turned on and off directly at the sconce, while the standard version wires into an existing switch circuit. Dual-voltage support (100V-120V and 220V-240V) keeps the fixture usable across different electrical standards.
Travertine's natural porosity and stone grain mean each sconce is genuinely one of a kind, suited to Japanese-inspired, minimalist, or wabi-sabi interiors. Installation follows standard hardwired wall-sconce practice, with a licensed electrician able to mount the backplate in minutes. Care is simple: wipe the stone surface with a soft, dry cloth, avoiding harsh chemical cleaners that can dull its natural finish.
