Description
Description
The Kestrelle wall sconce pairs a stainless steel cylinder body with a glass shade, available in gold or black metal finishes with transparent or smoke gray glass. Its tall, narrow cylinder profile echoes Scandinavian design, reading as a slim vertical accent rather than a bulky fixture. Offered in small and large sizes, it mounts as a single-light fixture suited to flanking a headboard, mirror, or reading chair.
The fixture accepts a separately purchased E26 bulb, so wattage and color temperature can be matched to LED, incandescent, or fluorescent lamps as needed. Light passes through the glass cylinder for a directional up-and-down wash rather than a wide flood, useful for bedside reading or accent lighting beside artwork. Because the bulb is user-supplied, the fixture can be dimmed or brightened by choosing a compatible lamp.
Construction is hardwired and rated for dry, indoor locations, so mounting calls for a standard wall junction box and is best handled by a licensed electrician. The stainless steel body resists tarnishing and holds its finish with minimal upkeep. Clean the glass shade with a soft, dry cloth and avoid abrasive cleaners that could dull the metal's finish.
